The last week has flown by so fast, it’s hard to know just where to begin! So, let’s jump right in with a card.
This was made to be sent at least three Thanksgivings ago- it is still in my box. Even though this card is super simple, I really like the color combination and embossing on the image. Square punches were used to layer.
Last Wednesday night my husband’s Dad and step mother, Cindy, came to town to spend Thanksgiving with us. It’s the first time we have gotten to spend any amount of time with them at our place, and we had a great time with them. The following pic is of me and Cindy and Pom Pom.
So, Thursday we ate a big breakfast, courtesy of my amazing husband. After opening Christmas gifts together and taking a nice long walk in the wonderful weather, we went to eat our turkey dinner at Monell’s in downtown Franklin. We were prepared for a long wait and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Our next door neighbors, Zeb and Amber (pictured below), joined us for dinner and then a game of Settlers of Catan, which is our favorite game.
The day after Thanksgiving, David had to work so his ‘rents and I went to Opry Mills mall for some walking and shopping, then on to the Opryland Hotel to see the lights. What a fun time! There is more to the whirlwind, but it has me exhausted, so stay tuned…
